The La Bourne Summum Carbon Black is a padel racket designed for intermediate players looking to elevate their game. The racket features a sleek black design that exudes sophistication, contrasted by the vibrant color of the Softcolor core.

This racket is constructed with a bidirectional carbon tube, and its core is made of 38mm medium-hardness EVA SOFTCOLOR CORE. The core is laminated with layers of carbon and fiberglass fabric, reinforced with carbon fiber, and impregnated with Varlion’s exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, then coated with titanium dioxide.

The Bourne shape is a hybrid design that merges the traditional diamond (power) and teardrop (balance) shapes. This exclusive Varlion design adds control to offensive rackets, resulting in a balance of 60% power and 40% control.

The La Bourne Summum Carbon Black features the Aerodynamic Drilling system, which avoids drilling the center of the racket to reduce turbulence. This enhances core resistance and hit uniformity, increasing the racket’s sweet spot.

The Softcolor innovation adds an aesthetic touch by coloring the core to match the rackets design, offering a colorful and elegant appearance.

The Summum technology enhances racket performance by incorporating:

The Hexagon frame reinforces one of the most vulnerable areas of the racket, providing greater resistance and preventing potential breaks. The racket also comes with a protective adhesive that fits perfectly with the hexagonal frame.

Slice is the name given to the most effective rough texture on the market. This series of curved lines across both sides of the racket allows both left and right-handed players to increase spin when slicing the ball.

Handlesafety is the security system integrated into the racket’s handle. Unlike traditional methods that use a centered hole, Handlesafety ensures that the cord passes through both walls of the handle, preventing the racket from detaching from the cord.
